Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 c. diced green bell pepper
- 3/4 c. finely chopped celery
- 1/2 c. corn oil margarine
- 3 1/4 c. toasted bread, broken into small pieces
- 3 1/2 c. crumbled cornbread
- 1 tsp. ground sage
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 c. cooked giblet broth (warm)
Directions

1Saute onion, bell pepper and celery in margarine.

2In large bowl, combine toasted bread and cornbread with sage, poultry seasoning and black pepper.

3Add the sauteed ingredients; pour in broth and mix well.

4Pour into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover and bake at 350° for 15 minutes; uncover and bake about 5 more minutes.

5Yields 15 to 18 servings.
