Cornbread Dressing

  • 8 c. crumbled cornbread
  • 4 c. crumbled biscuits
  • 7 to 8 c. chicken stock (get stock from boiled chicken)
  • 2 c. sweet milk
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning

Directions

    Add stock to cornbread.

    Add milk to biscuits and let stand about 5 minutes.

    Then mix all ingredients together.

    You can also add chopped chicken from the chicken you boiled to get the stock. Bake in well-greased pan at 425° until brown and firm.
