Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. Jiffy cornbread, mixed and baked
  • 3/4 stick oleo
  • 3 onions, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, cut up
  • salt and pepper to taste and sage (if desired)
  • juice (from turkey giblets to moisten)

Directions

    Saute oleo, onions and celery.

    Brown sausage and separate with fork.

    Break up cornbread.

    Mix all together.

    Add eggs, cut up.

    Salt and pepper to taste and sage, if desired.

    Add juice from turkey giblets to moisten.

    Put in greased baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
