Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 4 c. croutons or day old bread
- 4 c. cornbread, crumbled *
- 1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. chicken broth, heated
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
Directions

1Melt butter; add celery and onion.

2Cook over medium-low heat until tender.

3Stir in croutons, cornbread and pecans and seasonings.

4Add eggs and toss lightly.

5Pour hot broth and cream of chicken soup over entire mixture; toss.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

7Makes 14 cups.
