Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 c. celery, diced
- 1/2 c. corn oil margarine
- 3 1/4 c. toast, broken into small pieces
- 3 1/2 c. crumbled cornbread
- 1 tsp. ground sage
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 c. giblet broth, warm
Directions

1Saute onions, green pepper and celery in margarine.

2Mix bread crumbs with the seasonings in a large bowl.

3Add sauteed ingredients and pour in broth; mix well.

4Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and cover.

5Bake for 15 minutes at 350°, uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

6Yields 15 to 18 servings.
