- chicken broth from cooked hen
- 1 bunch celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 1 stick melted butter
- 10 to 12 slices bread
- skillet of cornbread
- 1 pkg. stuffing mix
- 1 to 2 cans canned chicken broth
Directions

1Saute celery and onion.

2Add water to broth to make 1 1/2 quarts broth.

3Combine cornbread, broth, eggs, celery, melted butter, stuffing mix and sage.

4The secret to good dressing is to have enough broth.

5Add 1 or 2 cans of canned broth if desired, to make it soupy and pourable.

6Cook 30 minutes at 400°, until it starts to brown.

7Do not overcook or it will be too dry.
