- 4 c. soft biscuits or bread crumbs
- 4 c. soft cornbread crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. cold butter, diced
- 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 1/4 c. chicken or turkey broth or water
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine biscuit and cornbread crumbs, onion, celery and butter; mix well.

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Add sage (rub spice gently between fingers to enhance flavor).

4Add chicken or turkey broth and eggs; mix lightly.

5Use mixture for stuffing poultry or a crown roast, or bake in a lightly greased baking pan, covered, at 350° for about 30 minutes.
