- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (17 ounce) can creamed corn
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 4 eggs
- 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, drained, seeded, and chopped
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Beat in eggs, one at a time.

3Stir in corn, cheese, chilies, and cornmeal.

4Sift flour, baking powder and salt and stir into batter.

5Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

6Pour mixture into greased 13X9 inch banking pan and bake for 1 hour, until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

7Serve hot.
