Cornbread Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Shawnee cornbread mix (yellow), prebake and cool
  • 1 pkg. Shawnee cornbread mix (Mexican), prebake and cool
  • 1 chopped medium bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped fine
  • 3/4 c. celery (optional)
  • 2 c. Hellmann's real mayonnaise (no light)
  • Tabasco sauce

Directions

    After cornbread has been cooked and cooled, crumble until very fine.

    Add your onion, bell pepper, tomatoes and celery.

    Add 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce for a little flavor or 4 to 5 for a hot flavor.

    Add Hellmann's mayonnaise and stir until well mixed. Refrigerate overnight for best taste.
