- 1 pkg. (7oz.) brown and serve sausage patties
- 1/4 c. margarine (divided)
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 pkg. (16oz.) cornbread stuffing
- 1 1/2 c. chopped apples
- 1 1/2 c. apple juice
- 1 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°F.

2Grease 3-quart casserole dish.

3Cut sausage patties into pieces.

4Melt 1 Tablespoon of margarine in large skillet over medium-high heat, add walnuts;

5cook and stir until lightly browned.

6Remove nuts from skillet.

7Melt the remaining margarine in skillet.

8Add celery and onion;
-
9cook until tender.

10Toss together all ingredients except juice and water in a large bowl.

11Add juice and water;
-
12stir together.

13Spoon into casserole dish and cover.

14Bake 1 hour or until hot.
