- 5 c. crumbled cornbread
- 1 lb. sausage
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. (lightly pressed down) fresh bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. sage
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Break up sausage; saute several minutes until gray.

2Remove to large mixing bowl, leaving fat in pan.

3In pan, saute onions 5 to 6 minutes or until tender.

4Add celery and saute 2 minutes.

5Add sauteed vegetables to sausage along with cornbread, white bread and eggs.

6Season, go heavy on sage.

7Fold in melted butter.
