  • 4 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 2 grated onions
  • 2 cups celery, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup drippings from roasted hen or turkey
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tsp. sage

Directions

    Mix crumbled cornbread and all other ingredients together, put in casserole dish (2 1/2 qt.) and bake at 400° for 45 minutes or until brown.

    Chicken parts and mushrooms may be added if desired.

    10 to 12 servings.
