  • 8 medium peeled potatoes
  • 1 head cabbage wedges
  • 8 carrots
  • 4 medium onions, halved and peeled

    Place brisket in large pot, covering completely with water. Bring to a boil and then let simmer for 2 hours.

    Add onions, carrots, potatoes and cabbage.
