- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 cups corn flakes cereal
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Lightly grease cookie sheet.

3Beat sugar and shortening until creamy.

4Beat in egg, milk and orange extract.

5Stir in flour and baking powder.

6Add cereal and nuts; mix well.

7Drop by tablespoon onto prepared cookie sheet.

8Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
