- 1 large potato
- 8 oz. flour
- 4 oz. margarine
- 1 small onion
- 8 oz. raw minced beef
- 1 heaped tsp. mixed dried herbs
- seasoning
Directions

1Sift flour with salt.

2Rub in margarine mixed to a stiff dough with little cold water.

3Divide pastry into four.

4Roll out into 7-inch rounds.

5Peel large potato and cut into small cubes.

6Chop finely 1 small onion.

7Mix potato and onion with beef.

8Divide mixture into four; place in center of pastry rounds.

9Moisten pastry edge.

10Join pastry edges together, joining at center and sealing down each side.

11Crimp edges so moisture does not escape. Brush the pastry with little milk or beaten egg.

12Bake in center of oven at 400° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 50 minutes, until golden brown.
