  • 2 c. potatoes
  • 2 c. onions
  • 1/4 c. shredded carrot
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsnip (optional)
  • green pepper (optional)
  • 1 1/2 lb. meat
  • pie crust

Directions

    Coarsely chop potatoes and onions.

    Add shredded carrot for color.

    Add parsnip (if you like them).

    Meat may be anything: hamburger, sirloin tips or stew meat, coarsely chopped.

    Combine all ingredients.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Wrap 1 to 1 1/2 cups of mixture in a piece of pie crust.

    Bake pastries at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden.

    Good hot or cold.
