- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. cold water
- 3 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- flour
Directions

1Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch or 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2-inch loaf pan.

2Mix corn meal and cold water in saucepan.

3Stir in boiling water and salt.

4Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.

5Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes.

6Spoon into loaf pan.

7Cover and refrigerate overnight.
