- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 4 to 6 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Combine flour, cornmeal and salt; cut in shortening with a pastry blender.

2Sprinkle cold water (1 tablespoon at a time) evenly over surface; stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened.

3Shape dough into 48 balls.

4Place in greased 1 3/4-inch tart pan, shaping each ball into a shell.

5Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

6Cool on wire racks. Yield: 4 dozen pastry cups.

7Serve filled with chili.
