- 2 c. milk
- 2/3 c. corn meal
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 6 c. white flour
Directions

1Add milk to corn meal slowly.

2Cook until thick, remove from heat.

3Add sugar, margarine, and salt.

4Let cool.

5Dissolve yeast in water and let stand 10 minutes.

6Add yeast to beaten egg and corn meal.

7Add flour and knead, will be very soft.

8Let rise once.

9Roll out 3/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutter and let rise.

10Use for hamburger buns or rolls.

11Bake at 350° until golden brown.
