- 1/2 c. egg substitute
- 1 1/2 c. skim milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 2 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves, crushed
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions

1In medium bowl lightly beat egg substitute.

2Stir in milk and oil.

3Add corn muffin mix, onion powder, thyme and black pepper. Blend until batter is slightly lumpy.

4Preheat waffle iron.

5Pour about 1 cup batter onto hot iron; cook waffles until crisp and golden.

6If desired, place in 300° oven to keep warm.
