Ingredients
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (any kind; I use walnuts)
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 4 eggs
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp. sweet basil
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together.

2If mixture is too soft, more crumbs may be added.

3Form into balls about the size of a large walnut and drop into deep fat.

4Cook until they turn a deep, golden brown.

5At this stage, they may be stored in the freezer for future use or place in a shallow casserole; pour sauce over them and bake in medium oven for 1/2 hour.
