Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. cottage cheese

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add all other ingredients except flour. Add 1 cup flour. Mix well. Add remaining flour. Put in warm place and allow to rise 1 hour.

    Stir down and place in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole. Let rise 40 minutes. Bake 40 minutes at 350°. While warm, brush with melted butter and salt.
