- 4-oz. can whole green chiles
- 12 corn tortillas
- 1 c. sour cream
- 12-oz. (1 1/2 cups) cottage cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash pepper
- 1/2 lb. sharp American cheese, cut into 12 strips
- 15-oz. can enchilada sauce
Directions

1Drain chiles, remove seeds and cut into 12 strips.

2Cook tortillas according to package directions.

3Combine sour cream, cottage cheese, salt and pepper; reserve 1/2 c. of mixture.

4Spoon remaining on 12 tortillas.

5Top each with a strip of green chile and a strip of cheese.

6Place seam side down in casserole dish. Mix 1/2 cup reserved mixture with enchilada sauce and pour over top.

7Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
