  • 12 large potatoes
  • 1/2 lb. American cheese
  • 1 slice bread
  • 2/3 to 1 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • parsley flakes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Boil, peel and slice potatoes.

    Add small amount of milk to moisten.

    Add American cheese (finely cut), bread (finely cut), butter, parsley flakes, green pepper (finely cut) and onion (finely cut).

    Add salt.

    Place in large casserole.

    Cover top with crushed corn flakes.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°.
