  • 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns
  • 1 c. melted oleo (reserve 1/2 c.)
  • 2 c. corn flakes, crumbed
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. onions
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Mix 1/2 cup oleo with corn flakes for topping.

    Mix wet ingredients; add to potatoes.

    Put in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Cover with foil.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes; uncover and bake 20 minutes more.
