Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 lb. ground beef (I use deer ground meat)
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 (14.5 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans chili (no beans)

Directions

    Brown sausage, ground beef, onion and bell pepper; drain off excess grease.

    Transfer mixture to large soup kettle.

    Add chili powder and salt and pepper to taste.

    Stir in diced tomatoes and chili.

    Bring to boil; reduce heat to simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
