Raspberry Banana Nut Bread

- 1/2 cups Shortening
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 3/4 cups Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Mashed Bananas
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Fresh Raspberries
- 1/4 cups Chopped Pecans
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together. Place into 2 lightly greased loaf pans and bake at 350F for 55 minutes.

2Note: A trick my mother taught me is to take bananas once they go brown and stick them into the freezer to use later in breads. I imagine that you could also use frozen raspberries in this recipe, but I used fresh.
