- 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings or margarine
- 1/3 c. sugar (can use more if like them sweeter)

1Peel and slice apples.

2Heat margarine or drippings in skillet.

3Add apples; cover and steam to desired tenderness (can use a small amount of water if needed).

4When apples are almost done, add sugar; continue to cook until apples are glazed and keep their shape.
