- 1 (10 -12 lb) country ham
- 2 cups dark molasses
- 1 cup vinegar
- 20 whole cloves
- 2 lbs brown sugar
- 1 cup pickle juice
Directions

1Place ham in a large container.

2Cover with cold water.

3Add 1 cup molasses and vinegar.

4Let stand overnight.

5Remove ham from water.

6Rinse well and cover with fresh water.

7Add remaining molasses.

8Cover.

9Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

10Boil for 30 min.

11Remove container from heat.

12Do not remove cover.

13Let stand overnight.

14Remove ham from water Remove rind and score.

15Stud with cloves.

16Combine brown sugar and pickle juice to make a paste, spread over ham.

17Bake at 300* for 60 min.
