  • 2 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. chopped fresh herbs (basil, oregano, dill and thyme)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Directions

    In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until foamy, 5 to 10 minutes.

    In small saucepan, heat the herbs with the milk until lukewarm.
