- 4 lb. country style pork ribs
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Directions

1Early in day or day before, heat ribs to boiling in uncovered saucepan with enough water to cover.

2Simmer on low for one hour or until fork-tender.

3Drain.

4Place ribs in barbecue sauce. Refrigerate until ready to use.

5Cook 30 minutes on grill or broil or bake in oven.

6Be careful not to overcook because meat has been precooked.

7It needs only to be well heated through to bring out flavor of marinated meat.

8Sieved broth may be used for soup.
