Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stew beef
  • 3 or 4 carrots
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 or 4 ribs celery
  • 4 or 5 medium red potatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 5 Tbsp. small pearl tapioca
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 28 oz. can whole tomatoes

    Cut vegetables and beef in same size chunks.

    Put ingredients into a large stew pot in order given.

    Cover and cook in 375° oven for 1 1/2 hours or until all is done.
