Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. cracker meal
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste (I do not use any salt)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients; mix well.

    Shape into cakes.

    Fry in shortening (or oil) until done, browning on both sides.

    Drain on paper towels.
