  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 1/2 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • fat or oil (for frying)

Directions

    Remove all cartilage from crabmeat.

    In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, eggs, mayonnaise and seasonings.

    Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly.

    Shape into 6 cakes.

    Fry in hot fat (350°) until browned or pan-fry in little butter or oil until browned on both sides.
