- 1 lb. lump crabmeat
- 1/2 c. onions
- 1/4 c. celery
- 1/4 c. red pepper
- 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Slice or chop onion, celery and red pepper into fine pieces. Saut in butter until very tender.

2The proportions of vegetables is optional, the goal is about 1 1/2 cups when raw.

3Mix all ingredients together.

4Take 1/2 cup proportions and shape into cakes.

5Coat cakes with crushed saltines (crush one sleeve of saltines).

6Place on a baking sheet; pour melted butter over top of each crab cake.

7Bake at 450°.

8Turn over after 10 minutes. Repeat until golden.
