- 2 lb. crabmeat
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. melted fat or oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. powdered mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook onion in fat until tender.

2Combine all ingredients except crumbs.

3Shape into 12 cakes and roll in crumbs.

4Fry in hot oil at moderate heat until brown on one side.

5Turn carefully and brown the other side.

6Cook 6 to 8 minutes.
