- 1 lb. crabmeat
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. white bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- seafood seasoning
- grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Make the white sauce:

2Melt butter in double boiler.

3Add flour and mix to blend.

4Gradually add preheated milk.

5Mix well; let cool slightly.

6Fold in crabmeat, breadcrumbs (no crust), mayonnaise and lemon juice.

7Add mixture to a 9 x 13 casserole dish.

8Sprinkle top slightly with seafood seasoning.

9Layer the top with desired amount of grated Cheddar cheese.

10Bake 20 minutes at 350° or until it just begins to bubble and edges begin to brown.
