Ingredients

  • 2 c. raw potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 c. onion, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 2 (17 oz.) cans creamed corn
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. hot pepper flakes (can substitute dried marjoram or dill)

Directions

    In a large pot, about a 3-quart size, combine potatoes, onion, water and salt.

    Bring to a boil.

    Keep covered about 10 minutes. Add milk, crabmeat, corn, parsley and other seasonings.

    Cook over low heat until piping hot.

    Serves 6 to 8.
