- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. diced green pepper
- 1 lb. fresh lump crabmeat, drained
- 1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 tsp. oleo or butter, melted
- paprika (for garnish)
Directions

1Melt 1/4 cup oleo in a heavy saucepan over low heat.

2Add flour, stirring until smooth.

3Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk.

4Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.

5Stir in next 5 ingredients.

6Fold in crabmeat.

7Spoon mixture into greased baking shells.

8Mix bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over crab mixture and garnish, if desired.

9Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
