Ingredients

  • 1 lb. backfin crabmeat
  • 1 Tbsp. pimento, chopped
  • 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • pinch of dry mustard
  • mayonnaise
  • milk
  • 1 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Toss lightly crabmeat, green peppers, pimento, egg and bread crumbs.

    Combine mayonnaise, salt, pepper, Old Bay seasoning, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce to make a mayonnaise mixture. Toss mayonnaise mixture lightly with crabmeat mixture.

    Mound in 4 or 5 individual shells or place in a small casserole.

    Mix mayonnaise with a small amount of milk and spread over the crab. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
