Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (do not dilute)
  • 1 envelope Knox gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1 large (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. chopped celery (2 stalks)
  • 1 c. chopped green onions (5 green onions with tops)
  • 1 can crab meat, shredded
  • Baguette
  • Roasted Red Bell Peppers
  • Provolone Cheese
  • Tomato Basil Sauce (see Sauce section)

Directions

    Lightly toast baguette slices in the oven.

    Lay a wide strip of roasted red bell pepper on each slice and place a square of sliced provolone cheese on the pepper.

    Fold the pepper over the cheese and drizzle with Tomato-Basil sauce.

    Place under the broiler until cheese is bubbly (but watch them carefully and don't let them burn).
