Crabmeat Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 2 large cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 4 slices white bread (more if needed)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onions

Directions

    Melt margarine in saucepan.

    Add bell pepper, celery, onions and garlic; saute until wilted.

    To this add milk and bread mixture; mix real good.

    Add crabmeat, green onions and parsley. Pour in a greased pan, 13 x 9-inches.

    Top with bread crumbs and butter.

    Can also be baked in two small pans, one to freeze.
