  • 1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 9 in. deep dish pie shell, unbaked
  • 1 (6 to 7 1/2 oz.) can crabmeat
  • 1 sm. onion
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon peel, grated or 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. mustard
  • 1/4 c. almonds, sliced

Directions

    Sprinkle cheese evenly over bottom of crust.

    Top with crabmeat.

    Sprinkle with chopped onion.

    Combine eggs with milk, salt, lemon juice or peel, and mustard.

    Pour over crabmeat, top with sliced almonds.

    Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until set. Remove and let stand for 10 minutes.
