- 6 egg whites, beaten until frothy
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. crushed soda crackers
- 1 c. nuts
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tub Cool Whip
- pie cherries or strawberries or any fruit filling
Directions

1Add to beaten egg whites the cream of tartar and sugar.

2Beat until glossy, not stiff.

3Fold in crackers, nuts and vanilla. Place in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

4Cool.

5Add as much Cool Whip on top as you want. Carefully add cherries or fruit filling on top.
