Ingredients

  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • dash of salt
  • 8 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Mix sugars, syrup and margarine; bring to a boil.

    Cook for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and add cream of tartar and salt.

    Pour over popped corn.

    Put in large roast pan and bake 1 hour at 200°. Pour onto waxed paper to cool.

    Store in airtight container.
