  • 7 qt. popped popcorn
  • 1 c. peanuts
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Put brown sugar, oleo, syrup and salt in deep pan and boil 5 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda and stir (will foam).

    Pour over popcorn and nuts.

    Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 250° for 45 to 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.

    May be frozen.
