  • 1 pt. molasses
  • 1/2 pt. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 scant c. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

    Boil molasses, water, butter, cream and sugar until it hardens in water.

    Take off stove and stir in the vinegar, soda and cream of tartar.

    Pour over popped corn and spread on board to cool. This amount is sufficient for about fifteen pints of popped corn.
