- 4 qt. popped popcorn
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. butter
- 2/3 c. Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Preheat oven to 225° to 250°.

2Pop corn (air popper is best). Set aside in large roaster or pan.

3Mix butter, sugar and syrup in large pot.

4Cook to a rolling boil for 5 minutes.

5Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and baking soda; mixture will foam.

6Pour over popcorn and mix until well coated.

7Bake for 1 hour, stirring every fifteen minutes.

8Remove from pans and store in covered containers.
