  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (if salted peanuts are used, no salt)
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 5 qt. popped corn
  • 1 can peanuts

Directions

    Boil butter, sugar, Karo syrup and salt for 5 minutes.

    Add soda and stir.

    Pour mixture over popped corn.

    Add peanuts.

    Bake for 1 hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Put on waxed paper to cool.
