Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. raw peanuts (optional)
  • 2 gal. popped popcorn
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil first 3 ingredients 5 minutes and remove from heat; add 1/2 teaspoon soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

    Pour this over 2 gallons popped popcorn.

    Spread out in a shallow pan and bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

    After cooking, pour out onto wax paper to cool.
